Agree it’s even more rare and risky with a goalie.
I believe they bought 5 years of free agency, so that is a factor in the price tag.i guess they feel like they’ve seen enough. but that’s scary to me. goalies can be so volatile.

Maybe they also just want their cut sooner rather than later.
