I am starting to suspect something significant might be on the horizon.

Bigger than something like trading to get a pick in the 1st round.

(I also think they have some decent potential for good picks at #41 and #49.)

In the past few decades, Montreal’s first round picks have been spotty to say the least, but in round 2 and latter rounds, we always seem to find gems. So it would not surprise me in the least if pick 41 or 49 ended up becoming a very solid NHL player.

Yeah, I was hoping for one (or both) of Wang or Nestrasil.

But think they pass on defence (Wang) and go for 2 forwards, if they keep those picks.

It would have been fun to keep saying big D Wang all the time.

    Oh well.

I still can’t believe the Habs made that Dobson trade without giving up one of Hague, Mailloux, or Reinbacher.

Cannot quote after 2 quotes – fails if there is a 3rd.

    But still good.

Apparently Gallagher’s name is out there.

    I hope not.

I wanna see that guy stay a Hab for his whole career.

    Sentimental, yeah.

But probably my favorite Hab in the last decade.

Depends on what we can get for Gallagher, I would love to keep him but if an offer’s too good, it’s too good.

I have a hard believing a team would be ready to pay to get Gally. he’ll always be worth more for MTL than what the return would bring. imo
