Habs have the assets. Makes sense. He’s actually good and not a roll of the dice like Dach/Newhook. Not sure why the Blues would want to move on? Berube is gone and Montgomery is a great coach for scoring.

According to D’Amico (in the video), the Blues have drafted a lot of wingers in the last few years and they need to make room for them in the lineup … their defense is also getting old so they are probably looking to improve in that area.
My guess is they also probably want to lower their salary load. JMO

Centermen and RHDs (high draft picks) are much more valuable than wingers which are a dime a dozen.

I wouldn’t blame the Blues for trying as it’s part of the negotiation process … but I would say NO if I was HuGo.
The only way I would let Reinbacher go is if we got a good young centerman in return … but what do I know, I’m just a fefan like everyone else here.Better them than us ???? … I’m sure they’ll enjoy having that useless penalty taking machine.
