ParticipantWhen the Montreal Canadiens started the season with a 7-3 record, it was quite easy to get swayed away by the great results, amazing plays and obvious

I think they are starting to believe their own press too much.
They are not doing the small things that were working earlier in the season, they are not shooting enough instead always looking for the perfect / cute pass, no one driving to the net, no one standing in front of the net in the offensive zone, not making it hard on the other teams to get possession or keeping teams to the outside in their own zone.
Just look at the first 5-3 PP they had last night… ZERO shots on goal. The second 5-3 only got them 2 shots, I believe.
Stop over passing, put someone in front of the net, and shoot the damn puck.

I think you wrote this before last night’s game? I didn’t watch it but it would seem that the blog’s title unfortunately remained very relevant. I’m not too worried though they’ll get out of this slump relatively quickly, if the injuries can stop piling on…

I don’t really believe in actual curses but yeah, it’s almost comical at this point how the guy can’t stay healthy, ever.

Yeah there’s always a delay between me writing the blog and the admins posting it. Sometimes it’s very quick, other time it takes the timing of it a little bit off. No biggy. 🙂
