he’s been struggling lately, which is kind of a rare thing since he usually plays his role very well, so he just needs to get back to his former self, nothing to worry about too much imho.

they’ve been struggling this season compared to last year but they’re still a pretty good team, they’ve been underperforming imho…
the habs were on a 2nd night of a back-to-back, while Winnipeg hadn’t played, so it’s safe to say it was a satisfying effort and a fully deserved win.

The difference with Slaf this year is that when he is not scoring, he is doing the right things out there more often than not – finishing his check, forechecking, improved defensive positioning.
I just wish he would shoot more, rather than trying to make the pass first.

Evans, Gallagher, even Anderson – they saw a lot more ice time last year and has a lot more offensive responsibilities because of the injuries. Their numbers showed that.
Throw in Demidov and Kapanen, and they are not seeing the same type pf minutes and are asked to play a more defensive game.
Seems like a fair trade off, but I am a big Evans and Gallagher fan, so it is a little hard to watch then sit on the sides a lot.
