Rentals are overpriced, but they have been slowly dropping. Hopefully that continues, as my Daughter is a renter and was paying a high-price until a few months ago that was more reasonable.
Of course, all that can change if they do LNG expansion.What is overpriced? For example a nice 1 bedroom condo in a high rise in Surrey fetches $2k/month. Yes I expect prices to go way up once LNGC phase 2 ramps up. Unavoidable sorry to say.

Will DeBrusk open up his team list or this there a lowball offer out there? The noise around EP40 has quieted. Looking more & more like camp & ex season will come without more trades. Will Cootes crack the line up or use the 1 19yr old spot & go marinade in Abby. Riley Patterson will be one to watch to see how his 1st pro season goes. Will Kudryatsev get his shot in the NHL full time? Raty’s time is now & curious how much TOI he gets. Is Lekerimaki ready to shake injuries & take the next? Ohgren imo will make a bigger impact after adjusting to the trade. Can Rossi be a true 2C & push offence? Can Chytil play more than 5mins before going back onto LTIR?

Can be pretty windy in the Terrace area during winters, but I don’t live there so I don’t have to deal with it lolAs you know, I spent a couple of months up there every late summer early fall fishing and had a couple of GF’s in the area over the years. Was my second home until about 5 years ago.
I would move on from here but my father refuses to sell and he’s half owner. He may not be around long so I guess I inherit but I don’t care about only getting half… I want him to have a few buck in his remaining time and I need to do this to get back on my feet. So I’m a prisoner here until he decides.

Have you considered a place like Rosswood, just outside of Terrace, about 40 minutes away.
It is a community that is kind of like what you have been describing for a few years.
The hospital in Terrace is brand new, about 2 years old, with many different areas of expertise, which might fit your Father’s needs.
As you know, you would be close to some excellent fishing grounds, with the Skeena and Kitimat Rivers close by and the ocean fishing at either Rupert or Kitimat.
It is also close to the Nass River and a couple lakes.I know some people that have been living out there for several years, they say it is the best decision they ever made.
Exactly what I’ve been considering, Terrace. Also Kamloops area and even back to Quesnel.
I know someone who works in the Terrace hospital and have dozens of friends in Terrace, Kitimat and the Hazeltons, not to mention in a few rezzies in that region.

It may be the dog days but I’m on my toes at the moment. The Clinton fire has moved to withing 23kms of my house and is headed for a collision course if the winds pick up. The 2 fires south of here merged into one and now about to join a 3rd fire that is new.
I will be honest, I’m tired of life in the South Cariboo. I moved back 3 years ago from the North Cariboo. 7 months of cold weather and 5 months of smoke and evacs. My father needs constant medical appointments and the hospital here closes down the emergency room 3 days a week. I want to sell this shack on 10 acres and move somewhere else.
