Is Martone injured? If so, he shouldn’t be playing at all. If he’s not injured then WTF is going on??? He started out great then suddenly got dropped to the 4th line for no apparent reason.
Chances of trading up/down? Underwhelming draft year.
Odds are against a trade up. In terms of trading down, that’s always a possibility if there’s someone they are confident they can still get a few picks later.
What’s the deal with Martone getting so unceremoniously demoted? Did he finally hit the wall or is it something else?
I doubt it’s because he hit a wall. He was excellent in the first three games. Kind of quiet in game Three. But ever since — four games — he’s been the 12th forward. Hoping he didn’t get banged up.
