    Any PTOs this year, maybe?

I’m doubting it. They seem to have a really full roster with no gaping holes even with Tippett and Grebenkin having possible layover injury issues. Add more injury on top of that? More likely. I certainly don’t have anyone in mind but they might. Anybody you like or a role you’d like to see filled? Maybe a legit enforcer.

I don’t think it’s far-fetched that Grebenkin could develop into a Ruslan Fedotenko type. That wouldn’t be too bad at all. Myrtetus made the comparison on Flyers Daily. And Fedotenko started out in the ECHL.

Fedotenko is an interesting comp and I remember him well. He was a very admirable player and got himself 2 cups. It would be great if something like that pans out. Grebenkin has more high end experience that some might think. He was a strong contributor, 2nd in scoring, for Magnitogorsk when they won the KHL title in 2024 and kept that going into the playoffs. In the right spot, I think Grebenkin can have some .5 PPG years and be a mixer out there.

Grebenkin needs either to get a bit better defensively or to score a little more. But he seems capable of either one. Maybe both?

Grebenkin will get plenty of games, there will be injuries in season. Had a decent rookie year for a depth winger, 0.25 PPG. Hit people, got into a couple scraps backing teammates. Rooting for him.

Is there a path to trading for Werenski?

If he’d waive for Philly, I think the Flyers would put together a big offer

I seem to be in the minority. I don’t see such in Grebenkin. Not a great skater. Not very good defensively. Nothing special offensively. Good forechecker. That’s not enough.
