Another stupid mistake by michkov cost them this time. Kid needs to sit game 4 cant be doing this crap in playoffs and hurting your team every game.

The Flyers have to be careful when Pissburgh starts to get in to their headhunting mode. Some of the stuff I saw towards the end of the game reminded me of James Neal headhunting Couturier back in the day. The Flyers need to continue to get under their skin and get them losing their cool. But they also need to keep their heads on a swivel because those sniveling asshats in Yellow (its NOT gold) will attempt to injure and take out players if they can. Its been the M.O. of Crosby led teams for 20 years.

Has the potential to get that way, yes.

any truth to the fact TK is playing hurt and he should sit. I dont complain about the refs a lot but they have been horrible. Seems Crosby gets the benefit of the doubt on all calls. First with Drysdale in Game 1 and last night with Risto. Say what you want about TKs hit on Crosby, but so much other stuff has been let go vs Flyers, that play had nothing to do with the game and really was not that bad.

TK is banged up — so are Tippett and others — but they aren’t about to sit. It’s that old “Are you hurt or INJURED?” hockey thing. Players will never admit to it anyway (even if actually injured). Officiating has been pretty mediocre so far. But it’s 2-0 with a chance for 3-0.

Michov has been physical. I wouldn’t look into benching him at all.

Michkov wasn’t a healthy scratch all year. There were games when his number of shifts got limited especially in the third period. He needs to be better than GM 1 and 2. But so does TK

The Pens couldn’t handle the physicality of the Flyers and it threw their stars off their game. The Pens looked silly trying to muck it up with seconds left in the 3rd period. A sweep to win it all in Philly would be great to see. The Pens will try to make some changes to their game, but I doubt it will work. Go Flyers!

After just kind of squeaking into the playoffs this has been an incredible start for the Flyers, I don’t have any grand visions of a Cup win but I am hopeful they can keep this going as long as they can, it’s fun to watch!!

What do you think of getting bump in the lineup for some more offensive juice. Michkov is lucky they didnt score twice off his terrible defensive play last night.

Michkov won’t sit but I do wonder if there’s a lineup change of some sort for Game 3. Barkey had a very strong Game 1, but a tough Game 2.Neither Barkey nor Michkov saw the ice much at all in the third period last night.
