So i just did an emergency homework on raddish

underlying stats are good/very good, so not totally a flukesome bad
partner with jj moser who a lot are saying is a big reason for his explosion
the pair had a lot of puck luck, will be regression
its very high risk high reward
very similar to Brandon Montour in Fla, then Krakenimo he is likely to land as a 3ish D, maybe a tweener from top pair to middle. 8+ish x 8 is a big gamble.
First off…..Massive win for Canada last night….great game, great atmosphere at the pub.
Its free agent season, so long term overpayments are what we can expect. If the leafs can build a good system, than Raddysh should continue to succeed. The leafs have to move the puck much faster on the PP and out of their zone.
$8m per is high but he thats what he would have made as an FA. 8 years is long, but in 4 years time, and $8m contract wont look or hurt as much as it once did.
This should be a decent deal for the first 5 years imo.
Now they gotta move out Morgan
But Raddysh, Tanev, OEL, Carlo, McCabe and Andrae doesnt look bad….if tanev can stay healthyYuck
