ParticipantI’m really hoping Matias Maccelli drops the gloves and beats the brakes off Mitch Marner tonight.
Maccelli is garbage, should be a healthy scratch most nights.

ParticipantHonestly, just stfu once in a while.
“Marner second-line centre
There is a twist that few saw coming: He’s the second-line centre in Vegas, behind Jack Eichel. Second line is one thing, but centre?ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW
“It’s been good,” said Marner. “I think a bit of my game is suited to being a centreman: getting low, supporting, helping out our defence. But it’s a new adjustment in taking faceoffs, trying to get good at that, the patience for that, trying to win more draws.”Literally out of necessity because of injuries to almost all their centers. Like I said, he’s at 120ish FOs which means he hasn’t played center for most of the year.
But he’s more than capable of the task. Leafs were too stupid to do it from day one.

ParticipantI heard marner is being used as a center in vegas?
Gonna be really tough for him in the playoffs if he stays in that position. You should get your hearing checked because Marner has only taken 127 FOs. 54% in the Dzone though.
He should have always been a center. The Leafs and their retarded player development strategy screwed that up. But he could play center. He’s strong enough defensively to do it. The hard part is the FOs that usually takes years to become among the best at. He’s not that big but he could play center if he had to, certainly better than the 20 times they tried with Nylander to abysmal failure.
Honestly, just stfu once in a while.
