setting up for one of those great disappointments, miss the playoffs by a couple points.
Go Leafs?
Whereby they acquire (instead of dump) more veterans at the trade deadline, give up more prospects and draft capital.
The rest of the schedule before the Olympic break is a mine field schedule.
Leafs play Colorado, Utah (back to back), Vegas (3 games in 4 nights) then Winnipeg, all on the road. Leafs suck on the road.
Then 5 games at home, Minnesota, Detroit, Vegas, Colorado then Buffalo.
Followed by 4 more road games, Seattle, Vanpoover, Calgary and Edmonton (back to back and 3 games in 4 nights). More Leafs suckage on the road.
If they lose to Colorado x2, Vegas x2, Minnesota, Detroit (OTL) and Edmonton but beat Utah, Winnipeg, Buffalo, Seattle, Vanpoover and Calgary, they’re .500, 6-6-1.
That’s probably where they land, right where they are now.
