Briere solved the most pressing need with Woll and added some edge on the blueline with Benoit without losing anything. Hopefully, Andrae gets a better kick at the can in TOR. Flyers don’t have any gaping holes but don’t have the depth developed yet for a 1C who can win faceoffs package. Seeing too many people clamoring for inadequate solutions there. Do it once, get the real deal, whoever that proves to be. Still like the idea of them getting Carlson as a UFA at no cost except cap space. Not the end of the world if they don’t. As of now, only FLA, TOR, WSH and the Flyers have actually improved their rosters in the East.
