I do like Greentree. He’s a big physical kid that I think will be a good NHL player

No issues at all with Greentree. Hes been a target of mine going back to when we were looking to trade KAndre. Its the kicker thats a kick in the nuts. if it was a conditional 2nd, that could be a 1st, I would have been a bit less annoyed.

Drury gets raked over the coals.

    Talk about underwhelming!!!

Unfortunately, because of the NMC, he got bent over. Not much you can do in the situation. Gorton signed him to a fully locked up NMC for the entirety of the contract. It is what it is.

We also apparently retained 50%… makes it even worse, despite the constraints lol

I didn’t see that anywhere. Has it just come out???

Yea, its up on the finalized trade posts.

    Panarin 50%, conditional 3rd, conditional 4th

Holland and Panarin bent Drury over.

Kings resign Panarin for 2 years, 11m per year.

I’m told the Kings were the only team Artemi Panarin wanted to go to and the only team #NYR had to work with.

Return is Liam Greentree, a conditional 3rd that can become a second if the Kings win 1 playoff round (would be better of two Kings 3rds) and a conditional fourth-rounder in 2028 if the Kings win 2 playoff rounds.

The situation was Panarin only wanted LAK. The first would’ve made this feel good but we had no leverage. Drury could’ve waited I guess. I hate Drury but idk what else could’ve been done

Thats most likely the scenario… 3rd round kicker, is a kick in the nuts.

Drury again, shows his hand, and gets bent over. Well done.

Now Im almost certain we will get Heidt and 2nd round pick for Trocheck from Wild.

Greentree is who I wanted from the Kings. But only getting an additional 3rd is a disgrace.

Im really hoping that these are the early reports and that theres more attached to the trade.

Greentree better turn into a god

With our luck. He will become a bottom 6 player.

Greentree looks like a very good prospect, but wow, what a let down. Couldnt even get a 1st round pick out of it to back it up just in case.

I don’t think this gets resolved until after the freeze is over. If I’m Panarin, why rush it, he holds the cards.

For Panarin, I dont think it matters nearly as much. Honestly, the sooner its over, the sooner he gets back on the ice, the better for him.

I think the longer this goes on, its the teams in question who are interested it benefits most. At some point the teams might go and make a trade for someone else, shrinking possible suitors and then forcing Drury to take whatever deal is on the table to walk away with something rather than nothing.

I can’t deal with this site

They got rid of the pages, now the site is impossibly slow.

Who does Edmonton have that we would want?

This would be the worst trade scenario ever.
