Terrible defense by Moore, if the player wants to go to his backhand let him, he can only do damage from that distance with forehand, why is this so hard
I was hoping Blashill would bring Tampas style of defense to Chicago, unfortunately haven’t seen it yet and i don’t think he knows how to teach it.
2 games in and the pitch forks are out, gotta love it.
I was watching the podcast with Zawaski in it and he said something concerning, they were doing drills during the preseason and the players didn’t understand them and they would have to stop practice over and over and over again. When he questioned a player off the record the player basically said oh no we understand them….
I didn’t know hockey was so complicated that they run drills that players don’t understand them??? Maybe that’s why they look so disorganized on the ice, whole lot of thinking going on instead of playing
I gotta say the more i reflect the more i feel like the guys without the puck don’t know how to make themselves available for a pass, something that is absolutely killing our chance at having possession.
Gotta take the hits to make the play, where is all this compete they talk about?
This is good they need to keep getting their ass kicked until they learn how to play as a team and win
What is going on that that the dmen can’t complete a pass or even get it out of their own zone, just awful
So much for Frenchy being back?
Anyways although they lost the season opener, the defense was flat flooted at times, the forwards were out of sync but i really liked what i saw from the kids on the ice.
Kantserov, Rinzel laying the wood on guys last night, really impressive. The defense needs to get better but i think that will come with time.
Great to see Kane score as a Blackhawk again. I can see the talent, the skating, now we need time to learn on the ice.
Frondell with the blast from the right dot, yea there are a lot of nice things i see, all the dmen able to skate it out of their own zone.
