ParticipantRumours out of Anaheim Cutter rejects contract offer, another reason why i say the way KD rebuilt this team, there is so much high end talent through out the farm system and still having 3 first round picks, more like 4 because we have the Canucks 2nd round pick and so on. Cutter is a really nice player, but what do you do when they want to get paid and instantly you are playing cap gymnastics. The Ducks are going to have no depth extremely quickly here.

ParticipantMy personal opinion, Arty was slashed and hacked a ton in his own end last season, you know the kids have to pay their dues bullshit

ParticipantYou know Bread the one common acknowledgment by everyone on the staff is these key statements, extremely mobile for his size and very strong on his skates.
The key statement about KK is he needs to get stronger. Hopefully he is and I’m not giving up on him yet.
I’m sure if the Blackhawks did they would of traded him already.
I believe by trading for Byram the team has created less pressure for Korchinski to develop.

ParticipantI was looking at some Duncan Keith stats and to be honest seeing his stats by the time he turned 24 is very comparable to Byram. Byram is actually better at scoring, it took Keith to the age of 25 to hit the 40 plus scoring threshold. If Byram does hit another level of scoring because he’ll run the PP1 and continue to get better in his own end, this will become a great trade by KD.

ParticipantI think that would be for the best Wiz.
Boy that Bedard contract looks so much better now that Celebrini signed that deal.
Nazar, Vlasic and Knight contracts look fantastic
That’s crazy how the Ducks, SJ are going to be cap crunched so quickly, that’s why i love all these high end draft picks in the system, this is going to be so valuable to the Blackhawks franchise, going forward.
We are finally at the final stretch run of the rebuild. As i said when he tore it down it’ll be here before we know it.

ParticipantIf I’m understand this correctly, Kane talking to Toews about joining them this year? Honestly i wouldn’t mind that at all.

ParticipantThe best part of that deal is it lines up with when McDavid becomes a free agent. By the next season we are going to be looking real good

ParticipantThanks boiler, I’m excited he’s back, hear some guy whining about how the Hawks overpaid.
What’s a .9 point per game player worth? And it’s only 2 years unlike Stamkos and Marchessault and many others
I think Vegas is going to miss Dorofoyev who was great at the PP one timers, Kane will most likely just help all the way around in scoring. On the PP and 5 on 5.
Going on the 5th year of the Hagel trade and looking forward to seeing all this talent develop. I have to admit many many moves that KD has done have made this team better and Byram is the one i question the most but if he’s right with Byram than this team is going to really start trending up.

ParticipantI know Kane is older but damn I’m excited now.
Kane is going to allow more seasoning for the forwards.
Byram and Kane immediately make the PP better, OT and Kane is great in the shootouts.
BJP its all good and glad you weren’t right.
Best part is Kane really isn’t in any kids way. So we took Byram from Buffalo, SJ and whatever team was interested in him and now we took Kane from Buffalo who they really need him, take that Jarmo
Thank you Bedard for not having to sign for over $18m per year
