ParticipantI really like where the rebuild is. It’s time for the kids to play and learn to become pros.
I think Murphy, Dickinson and Lafferty are the only starting players on this team from 2022.
It’s the opposite of being up against the cap and every year you have to trade away talent and your team gets weaker, young talent is developing and every time one of them can play well in the NHL the team will only get stronger and stronger.
They have so much talent in the pipe line it’s crazy. With currently 2 top 10 picks if the season was to end today.

ParticipantI also hope Connor Bedard plays within himself, i always feel he forces things when he plays the Canucks

Participant“We have very talented players,” he said. “They’re young, but they can handle NHL-level systems. We’re not putting training wheels on. We’re teaching them to play like the team we want to become.”
I really like this statement. They are now going through teams making an adjustment to the system they are running. It is so much better to watch these talented kids take their lumps than it is place holders who are old and slow.
Tough road trip, hoping they can win tonight, team needs one

ParticipantI didn’t see that coach, nice
BetweenTheDots
ParticipantLooks like Oliver Moore will be in the lineup tonight

ParticipantI’m excited about where we are and looking to Frondell, Moore, Lardis and Kantserov playing in the NHL next season, crazy how things are lining up for this team.

ParticipantThanks Frenchy good stuff.
I think Griffins are a good test for the kiddies. Yzerman has been building the club up now for 6 years i believe.
Per our discussion yesterday maybe it’s the wrong way to express it, i don’t take issue with the Blackhawks D pinching in the offensive zone, what’s been burning us is the defenseman after a decent offensive keep will pinch in the neutral zone, and this is bad because the forwards can fly out of the D Zone since even if we win the pinch we have to wait for everyone to get on sides again. I didn’t see that vs the Oilers and hope it continues that way for at least the road trip.

ParticipantIt’s nice to see Bedard playing 200 feet of hockey.
Burakovsky has been a nice addition for Bedard.
Nazar line has been a great addition for Bedard.
If those dmen don’t make bad pinches it’s not easy for the opponents to score against us.
It’s fun to see our dmen able to skate with the Oilers forwards
My only complaint is Bedard shooting the puck when we had puck possession in OT with no one in front of the net, kids got to know better and keep possession
BetweenTheDots
ParticipantMan i really wish Bedard would put his shot away in OT. Just keep possession kid. Why is this so hard to understand 3 on 3.
Great job defensively by the Blackhawks i don’t think i saw any bad pinches. Like i said i can’t wait for these kids to get stronger that’s when it’s going to be a lot of fun to watch them.

ParticipantAgainst such a fast team like the oil, i think i give Arty a chance on the pk in place of Murphy.

ParticipantLove where the kids play on this team, i can’t wait till they get stronger, and are able to impose their will vs men. It’s right there for these kids

ParticipantDodged a bullet there at the end of the 1st period
BetweenTheDots
ParticipantNo worries Frenchy, i figured that was the case since i couldn’t sign in today until tonight, i appreciate what you do and how much you do it.
BetweenTheDots
ParticipantI hope next time they play they are physical with Scheifele, watching the playoffs last year it affects his play.
BetweenTheDots
ParticipantI liked the push back, there was some gaps in their D, i can’t wait till the young D learn when to pinch and not to.
