“Memo” We need a new GM to lead the way, Drury self destructed this team. Another, true rebuild is needed.

Raddyish, sheary, Soucy have no business taking spots from morrow, Berard, Perreault

Sully is coming in as advertised, favors Vets over kids. Conor Sheary is averaging almost 18 minutes and has 3 assists, he is nothing more than a 4th liner and I like all of our 4th line over him.

They defend great against better teams yet cant against the Sharks? Sharks are young, speedy team that opens it up. Rangers are slower. I was surprised with the Habs game. Habs are a fast team, I thought they were going to give the Rangers fits. They took their foot off the gas in that one.

Is this site still a work in progress? Seems like Jan is behind a few days, I hope all is ok with Jan. Hockeybuzz is dead, site may have been updated but Eks spell check is still broken. Nobody has been there. Ugh

Has anyone did a missing poersons report for Laffy?? I havent seen him, has anyone else?

So far, even though its only been 8 games and not much of a sample size, this team might be what it is, a .500 team that will rely on Igor to get them to the playoffs.

I agree with you that Sully hasnt won anything in years and had generational talent when he did but the Rangers as a team have played much better structurally and have created chances but truth be told this was a team where the core couldnt get it dont before and they are now older and cant seem to get it done now. Mika’s decline started years ago and Panarin isnt a 100 point player now. Drury made his trades but couldnt move off Mika and Panarin and this will be another failed season, failed because we arent winning a Cup this year and to me, thats all that matters!!

Does this really surprise anyone?? The Rangers just cant develop anyone. Please dont say Igor because he developed in the KHL and came here when he was 24. This organization is a mess now.

Jan could just copy and paste the last article. It was an exact replica of the last game. Played great but lost. Starting the season with 3 straight shutouts is a new NHL record. Congrats boys!! Loved the JT interview after the game, Its just 5 games into the season.

If Drurys plan was to hope one of those players went to free agency he should be fired now. You dont run a team with the hopes a player will leave his team and sign with you instead of one of the other 30 teams (Not including Rangers and the team the player is leaving). That is downright ridiculous. I cant see Panarin staying, as Drury had that big blow out a few years ago after losing a playoff series. Panarin didnt do much to help his case against Fla. I cant see Drury wanting to sign him.

Not the most impressive game but its still early.

Good for Miller, he needed a change of scenery.

We all knew Goodrow was over paid, Drury was the one that over paid him. Drury went about changing the team overall with what he did with Goodrow and then CK20 and Trouba. Yes the team needed a change but Drury went about it all wrong. The way this team played the other night reminded me how they ended the year. If the uninspired play continues, Drury is gone by Christmas.
