Trouba was hurt in those playoffs, I think an ankle, funny though, he played ok versus the Oilers and Knights averaging over 23 minutes a game!! Sounds like someone who is washed up and isnt worth anything
Trouba didnt lose the room, he was what brought them together, remember after the fight and helmet toss, the Rangers went on a tear!! After he left, the team hasnt made the playoffs since.
As far as KK, he was hurt most of last season, so im giving him a little more time and to see.

Kakko and Trouba had zero value. Maybe negative value. They were both terrible and NYR fans couldnt wait to drive them to the airport.
I disagree with you on this. There was no pressure to trade either except in Drurys small mind. KK never had the chance here, third line minutes, no PP time and Trouba was hurt. When trading assets you need to get some assets back. Borgen was a waste and Trouba just signed another 8m per contract so someone thinks Trouba was worth something.
This team is going to be hurting for scoring. The Rangers have to hope Dorofeyev can score without Eichel

I think a 30g scorer for 2 first round picks is a pretty good deal. Thing is he played with Eichel, we dont have a premium center for him to play with. We have to hope Miller’s shoulder is healed.
Dorofyev is a great pick up for literally nothing but he replaces Panarin production. We will see how the rest plays out.
Im thinking Drury over played Trocheck. Now that Larkin and JRob are out there the the price on him has dropped.
