Rangers are now last in the Conference and 27th in the League.

Thanks Chris for all the wonderful work you have done to improve the team.

Man, this site is dead . Where is everyone

There were a few posters who came over from the Buzz but they havent been posting. Im not sure why they havent. Fair weather fans??

You are so right though Dury took a team from first in the league to 25th, terrible manager, just stupid. The guys he got rid of werent the problem during their runs to the ECF, Trouba, CK20 and Goodrow. It is apparent now those were the Leaders of this team. I didnt like Miller as Captain and still dont, he just got to the team, he wasnt a good Captain in Vancouver, its just Drurys way. Stupid

2 goal lead, blown. Sinking fast. Buffalo fired their GM and went on a run, Rangers should try the same thing!!!

Trade Panarin Trocheck ZiB (if we can) Laf Carrick (love the player, he’s the only one that gives a damn night in and night out, but I think we’d be pleasantly surprised at the return).

Trade FOR Trent Frederic. I think this is one we’d be able to acquire a mid round pick on top of the player. Make EDM eat around 1 million, give him a chance as the 3C. Also brings another physical presence in for a rebuild. Having a terrible year but only a few years removed from a 17 and 18 goal seasons. Still relatively young (turning 28 next month).

No need for a 28yo, just burn it down and start over, first thing is first, FIRE DRURY!!!

Like I told Tj, the Drury is a genius thing didnt age well, really fast. Hockey is a team sport where you need comradery and chemistry, Drury destroyed both and this thing just burned down.

Instead of “Chris Drury, the time has come to pull the plug” it should read, “The time was come to pull the plug on Chris Drury”.

Sullivan is a plug also. Said it from day 1 before they even signed him. He’s been a loser for 8 years in a row now.

This team could only hope Drury gets fired, this is a complete mess. If Dolan watched this game he has to be saying to himslf how can I trust Drury?? Sullys hiring hasnt turned things around (Who would have thought 4 coaches in 6 years) It is the players it falls on, it is time to clean the house. At least Mika picked it up, he should fetch a first rounder, Rangers should eat a lot of these contracts to get the best possible return. Im not up to date about the new rules about retaining salary, if any of the 3 posters on here know please explain them.

What can you even say about this team now? Like wow!!!

Its ok man, its all part of the plan, just have to give it time to work itself out. You need patience when you’re trying to change the culture and ethics of a team.

Culture needs to start with Drury!!!

People saying we should trade JT Miller seems odd and would be an incredibly bad look on the Rangers… To trade for him the year before, make him Captain, then trade him, would kill… I mean absolutely kill the look of the NYR and we would have an incredibly hard time signing free agents. Panerin and Zib are absolute possibilities… Trotchek and Miller, I highly doubt…

Miller is going to 33 in 2 months and has 4 years left after this season at 8 mill, who would really want him? He better have an outstanding Olympics otherwise he wont have much value at all.

The Rangers have traded their last 3 Captains and the longest tenure Ranger in this era. They dont give a shit about the players. This organization was killed last year when Drury made his open for business statement. Gavi signed, if the Rangers over pay, they will come but who can we over signed that will move the needle for this team? We arent in a playoff spot so does it really matter to sign someone next season? There arent any big name players out in FA.

Panarin and Drury I think have a rocky relationship after Drury ripped him a few years ago after the ECFs. Drury doesnt strike me as a guy who mends fences.

I still dont see the need to resign him. Trade him and say thanks we had a good run but you arent that player we needed. This team isnt going anywhere with him so why bother resigning him? Let the retool begin, who will take Miller or Mika?? Those contracts will be tough to move even with their approval. Its going to be a dismal 4 years in Rangerland if we cant get these contracts off the books. Our pipeline is practically bear. So many first rd busts is a disaster.

Panarin was part of the problem this team never got over the hump in the ECF. He just couldnt do it. Why resign him if the team is floundering??

Because the UFA class has all been resigned and we missed out on all the big exciting fish. If anything they should trade him and resign him in the offseason but that wont happen

Why would this aged team resign him? Its better to lose than to have him help us win arguable 4 or 5 more games during the season for us. If we are trading him its the start on a retool.

    Repost from the last article

Terrible to see Igor go down, I was listening to it on the radio, finally got home and havent seen a replay of it. If he is out 4-6 weeks, I cant see this team making it, maybe they rally around each other, who knows but we will soon see if Drury has a brain or if team makes a run, stay tuned!!
