Quotes aren’t working but TJ as it stands they are one half of a good team. There is no offense here. It either needs to be addressed asap via some kind of roster move (trade or Perreault) to get a foothold in the standings or they should focus on getting assets and building for the future. The worst case scenario would be clawing to get a wildcard spot and falling short with Panarin walking for free and the rest of the core getting a year older
Or Miller starts scoring at his normal pace – Zib has proven to me at least that he is NOT done and could still be a point per game player. What killed us more than Drury imo was drafting two consensus busts ( (laffy and kakko)- Just bad Ranger’s luck. Even when we get lucky – its a fugazzi
Age could potentially be catching up with Miller or its just that his line mates arent as good as they were in Vancouver. Mika hasnt been a PPG in 3 years now and there is nothing indicating that he is going to get back on track with scoring. In both their cases their best years could be behind them.

It’s almost impossible to believe this was the same team that put up 13 shots against Tampa. Nice little heart and soul comeback win. Not very confident that effort will be the norm. Also, JT Miller makes some LAZY plays man woof
They are nothing more than a .500, playoff bubble team. If they get consistent, we will see.
When u have a GM publicly come out and say he wants certain players gone (Trouba Kreider) what do you expect the returns to be?

This team needs a new GM to turn this around bc nothing Drury has done gives me confidence he’s the man for the job.

Imagine giving up a guy that has 13 goals already, well on his way to another 30 goal season, for a bag of pucks? My goodness drury is horrendous.
Part of Drurys vision for the team. Lets face facts here, this team, as it was constructed, wasnt winning the Cup. The guys Drury traded werent the reason why they lost. The main culprits, cant be traded. It was up to Drury to milk this roster for a last run but he blew it and blew it big time. The culture of this team is in the pits. Laffy is looking like another 1st round bust. The Rangers organization can not keep failing to hit on a first round pick, aside from of course, CK20. This is why I get so pissed when people say we will be ok, no, we arent, its Cup or bust, one Cup in a 100 years isnt good enough for me and with 32 teams in the league, it will be even harder.
Well, they got Morrow, use him. Hes supposed to be an offensive minded Dman. Pair him With Gavrikov, leave everything else as is. We could feature Morrow, maybe he does something special and then maybe we can move him at the deadline to a team needing an offensive RD.

Why trade a young defense men when they could start to build around someone?
Not sure how this will play out. No idea if there is any pressure on Drury. Dolan had to give the OK last season for Drury to pull his stunt.

A good team doesn’t lose like this. Especially against a team without hedman, point, and 3/4 of their top 4 defensemen. Igor has faced the most shots and we cannot get any of our own let alone scoring chances
We are not a good team. An average team at best annd our best future assets are our two first round picks this offseason. We have no high end prospects. Perreault could be a first line player but he’s not a franchise player. Mika, jt, Trocheck are all on the wrong side of 30 on long term deals and only Trocheck is remotely tradable. Panarin needs to get dealt and not let walk for nothing. The best case scenario is Fox is out long term and they blow it up (not that I’d wish bad upon Fox, just purely objectively speaking). Not overly enthusiastic about the near future unless Drury loses his mind and does crazy stuff (he’s boring and arrogant so he won’t) or he gets fired
Id be fine with moving Fox out too. He has a NMC so he would have to agree to be moved.
