Thanks for the post. I forgot about the UFA Forwards. I’m trading at least one if not both of Matt G and Murph. Time to make space for EDM and KK unless they are traded, always possible. I’m resigning the Mick. Keeping Dickinson for now he’s just too valuable on the PK and face-offs. I agree in what you’re saying is listen to offers for Teravainen because Lardis and Kantserov are also Wings.

Glad to see the bring up Rinzel again to shake things up. Right now, the 55/44 pair is an outright disaster in their own end. The development isn’t a straight line, but we need better. Levshunov was better playing with 48 and with less responsibility. Inexperience and the long grind of an NHL season seem to be wearing on him.

44 has had a decent year but he is not at the top of his game lately when it comes to play in his own end, I think he is trying to do too much. It would be great if the Hawks could just back him off the #5 whole where he should be slotted.

I didn’t watch the game but judging by the box score Rinzel made it through the game unscathed and at least activated for 3 shots on goal and led in time on ice.

We’ve still got 3 guys at Rockford playing defense and one goalie hopefully making it to the big team. Something tells me KK gets traded before next season.

Was about to write the same. Especially where’s Boilermaker?

If we can finish with the same amount of 2pt wins as losses, letting the 1pt losses fall wherever, it will be a highly successful season.

As long as we have Mikal Roszival to compare to Murphy’s speed records are safe.

<p class=”userway-s15-active” data-userway-s15-styled=”true” style=”font-family: UDF, serif !important; transition: all;”>Earl, if the Hawks miss the playoffs by a couple of points. Remember that NHL playoff contenders keep a veteran goalie around for emergencies. KD traded his insurance policy to meet the cap floor a couple of days before he needed him.

Talk about obscure complaints. You’re digging deep SFG. You can rationalize anything to fit your narrative.

<p class=”userway-s15-active” data-userway-s15-styled=”true” style=”font-family: UDF, serif !important; transition: all;”>Surprised Allan was traded away today, but now he’s given a chance with another org, wonder if Taige Harding passed him up.

With the emergence of Big Louie and he was probably behind EDM Allan’s time was up. With the amount of draft choices we have, it’s inevitable this will happen to some of them. Not much leverage on our side.

<p class=”userway-s15-active” data-userway-s15-styled=”true” style=”font-family: UDF, serif !important; transition: all;”>I haven’t been around as I was busy moving, but I wanted to say things are looking good. On pace for an 82 point season. Heck of a strong improvement for a young team. We need only 9 points to match the 52 point season two years ago and only 18 more to match last year. Been saying it since the end of last season, we likely get about 75 to 80 points and get out of the bottom 3 to 5 teams. Last season the offensive production improved, this year better D and goaltending. Soon it will be about building around the core by filling holes and maximizing depth to be a real contender.

According to Steve from Glencoe nothing is going right.

I know this is heresy but I think Bedard’s shot makes Dinky’s shot look like a junior player.

    Frondell/Nestrisil = Bergeron/Lucic

<p class=”userway-s15-active” data-userway-s15-styled=”true” style=”font-family: UDF, serif !important; transition: all;”>I don’t expect Dach and Slaggert to be part of the team two years from now.

<p class=”userway-s15-active” data-userway-s15-styled=”true” style=”font-family: UDF, serif !important; transition: all;”>Definitely Foligno, Dickinson or Lafferty won’t be here next year.

<p class=”userway-s15-active” data-userway-s15-styled=”true” style=”font-family: UDF, serif !important; transition: all;”>I can see Dach having a place on this team even as a 13th forward, agree about Slaggert, one thing is for sure it’s going to get really interesting on this team really quick.[/quote]
Slaggert just appears to be a tweener AHL/NHL. I’ve been a fan of his since his first game when he put an opponent picking on our guys in a headlock during a scrum.

That’s why I’m excited about the Blackhawks rebuild, it won’t be long before we have more talent from player 1 to player 19 dressing each night for the Blackhawks.

I don’t expect Dach and Slaggert to be part of the team two years from now.

Bedard got screwed by Team Canada but it will make him more pissed off and less likely to get injured.
