Which puts him at the 8th spot, ahead of Hellebuyck.Not too shabby.
Which means absolutely nothing because he’s only played 11 games. If Matthews had maintained his career goal sIf coring pace after his 1st NHL game, he’d have 2624 NHL goals right now. But it didn’t go that way, did it?
The Leafs don’t have a single goalie that can play 55-60 games and maintain that level of stat over that larger period of time without falling off or getting hurt.
