If the Leafs had traded 2 x top 20 1st round pics & that player for Dobson with the extension you just know many Leaf fans and for sure non-leaf fans would be screaming it was an overpayment! I actually think this one is a bit of a wash right now and both teams feel like they won.

Besides, Im sure there would be cap retention unless the oilers are unloading a contract of their own the other way.cause they need a goalie and I think the only way for the Oilers to get one is to trade for one.
Those were some names that were mentioned. The other was the Utah goalie.They wont be spending that kind of money on a goalie. They could move out pickard ($1m) or either skinner ($2.6m) and spend about $5m on a goalie.
Not if they trade for Swayman or Gibson.
Doubt very much New Jersey would trade Hamilton to Toronto, don’t think they could afford to fit him anyway.
