oh yeah he played with the rangers as well.I think the Leafs can’t win a Cup with a player that bad defensively, that old at that price. He was useless in 6 out of 7 games against Florida.

I’d rather keep Lorentz who will be cheaper and better IMOBetter to try to trade Marner’s rights, or let him walk. Add two players to the top 6 with that money. Make sure to get Knies signed and let Tavares walk, if he wants more than $5M on a one year deal.
I think JT will get a 4 or 5 year extension @ 5 or 5.5M cap hit
