The new LTIR rules mean Pietrangelo (if he wants to play at all this year) will put Vegas over the cap (by 4+Million). Vegas is hoping he accepts a ‘non playing’ designation so they get full relief. Tough call for AP if he wants to keep the opportunity to play open.

The Leafs dont have many futures to trade…..and formenton isnt active until Dec 1st.
The leafs are big enough poop show on their own….dont need more poop show story lines imo.Actually the Leafs have plenty of future consideration. Basically you get him for nothing.
