Oh man I hope McCabe is okay.

Bobrovsky is not bad.
Bobrovsky is also not a life saver anymore.
This team is absolute garbage with this D, There are three useful D-men, they are old, and one is already injured.
Battle of Mediocrity.
Two average teams fighting for wild card supremacy.
Also a battle of two Russian goalies going in opposite directions so far. Bob has been not so great and Sorokin has been on fire to start the season.
Here’s hoping those two goalies are on a teeter-totter?
Rielly has never been good overall because his defense has always been a problem. He’s not big, he’s not physical and his hockey IQ is low defensively. His saving grace was always his skating and his “scoring”. Reality is, his skating can’t save him anymore and his scoring doesn’t exist. The Leafs didn’t realize that his peak value was when it was time to trade him. Instead, they gave him a huge extension.
The worse news is, Tampa Bay threw a grenade named Raddysh at us who is going to be exactly the same. And the Leafs fell for it. Again.
Hire Colin Farrell, get him to dress as you know who, and have him get rid of Rielly and Raddysh as soon as this year is convincingly shot. He’d do it for the remainder of their salaries, in cash in a bag, won’t be a cap hit.
As Prince said the Leafs had 2 periods of looking good and then woof in the third.
Rielly was terrible (again) and he looks just lost out there but they are stuck with him unless he agrees to be moved and so far he seems intent on not doing so and the club won’t scratch him – the message that would send to the rest of the players and anyone they are trying to woo to sign in Toronto doesn’t allow for it.
The way Hiller’s coaching start here has gone we could see Alfie as the bench boss before the TDL if not sooner!
Saturday is another chance to prove everyone wrong though.

The downhill of a career is one thing, the one in Rielly’s is starting to look like the one ski jumper’s use, without the ramp.

Here’s my hope, on Monday Chayka will say to him “Ok Morgan you got to meet Tucker so give me a 12 team list ffs… wait… not ffs… please… I meant please”
They just don’t want him gone bad enough.
Start scratching him until he provides a better list.
At this point I’d be happy if all the leafs got was a 7th for him so long as the team they traded him to took on his entire contract.
