Not quite good enough IMO.McMann is not top 6, Macelli might be. Having 2 question marks in the top 6 is not a good move. My guess is there is one more piece coming in and where there is smoke there is fire: Kadri?!? (or a top 6 RW for Knies/Matthews)

Knies, Matthews, Domi/Macelli
Kadri, Tavares, Nylander
McMann (Cowen), Roy, Macelli/Domi

Calgary’s rebuilding and Kadri’s not a great fit for that timeline. He’s still producing 60-70 points a year, so his 7M isn’t the worst in the world, especially with the cap going up.
He 100% plays Berube’s game and he would be welcomed with open arms by the fan base. Plus it is more center depth and gives us some different looks. Kadri/Roy/Domi would be a fun line, or maybe Kadri on Matthews’ wing?
Could we send Kampf and Jarnkrok their way to get them out of a contract they don’t want and free up enough space for Kadri?

But who the heck is trading for Kampf and Reaves? Also who has a top line winger that they are willing to move? Im sure Tre has a list of possible candidates, but do the leafs even have what the other team would want?
