On s’en crisse qu’il a joué pour les sens. Je ne dis pas que le CH devrait lui donner un contrat de 7 ans, mais pour 2 ans, pourquoi pas?
La réalité est que le marché est un peu mince pour les centres en ce moment. C’est le fun de rêver mais on doit aussi composer avec la réalité.
C’est aussi une solution temporaire en attendant Hague ou un joueur plus jeune ou dynamique.

I think that might work, but dont you hate it cause Giroux is a small player?

@ Mash : I would expect Tavares to go to a contender or another market than montreal. Its his last big contract as well.
Claude Giroux I could see as a stop gap. 2 years kind of deal.
Hopefully he can still play as a centre. In a top 6 role.

@ Pat : I did not say anything about trading down. I think both teams would be after a young player ready to play in the NHL. Think Slaf or Caufield.
Would I do that trade? I dont know, but I could see both chicago or Utah seeking that kind of deal. Simon the snake Boiverts seems to really like Desnoyers and the problem at the centre position would be solve for years. Its easier to find a winger than a centre on the market.
