Not likely to play down the middle with mtl anyway. I think Evans and Owen beck will be 3C and 4C. But if he can play centre from time to time if they need to, that might be nice.

Mailloux will be a 6th defenseman in the NHL at best, if he reaches the NHL at all.
Bolduc is already an NHLer at 22 years old. Oh and he is a centre. Not a winger.

Would have been a good trade anyway even if he plays on the wing in mtl. Mtl has defense and Mailloux would not have crack this line up with Dobson, Reinbacher and Carrier all on the right side.

Mtl does not have a lot of young forwards prospects coming up other than maybe Florian Xhekaj and Owen beck.
