ParticipantHe couldn’t make this Leafs roster. Avoid.
yeah well he did clear waivers, but that was mainly because of his contract. pretty sure the leafs could’ve used him right now lol.

ParticipantLaval’s leading goal-scorer Jared Davidson will make his NHL debut tonight for the Canadiens, replacing the injured Alex Newhook
I wonder if there’s any truth to the rumor that the habs would be interested in David Kampf, who recently terminated his NHL contract with the leafs…

ParticipantIt was Joel night.
Well they were overdue for a bad one. They still got alot of scoring chances.
The only concern for me on is Monty’s play.
I was at the game saturday with my boy, had a blast!
please stick to the thread’s topic, thank you.

ParticipantI couldn’t care less if he was crying. Dude battles and fights for every inch in the net and wants to win everything. He looks big in there, Monty looks small. Dobes was 6-0 and you sit him for over a week to get a single guy going when he’s not the answer long term.
Add in Martys ridiculous statement and it’s flat out dumb. He wants merit for the struble/xhekaj battle for sixth D but wont do that with his goalies? Nonsense
you need your 2 goalies to get things going, and the sample size with Montembeault justifies the decision, as they already know he’s better than this (and I’d say he’s been pretty solid tonight lol…).
going with Dobes again tonight wouldn’t have been a bad decision either, I simply don’t understand why some fans get so appalled about goalie management.

Participant
why do they always need to have a fancy shading design in the logo, it’s so unnecessary.

ParticipantKappy!
I don’t know if he’ll maintain that pace but he’s definitely been exceeding my expectations, nice to see.

ParticipantThe logic of Marty St Louis to start Monty when he hasn’t earned the crease after the start Dobes has had to the season is bizarre.
Nothing on merit in the crease? Hows that going to affect Dobes? Complete nonsense.
Montembeault played 62 games last season and got them to the playoffs… yes he’s been struggling so far this year but to say he didn’t deserve the start tonight is just silly. Dobes was literally in tears after the loss the other night, let him rest lol.

Participantnever seen that before. early November?!? thank god he’s not a blue jays
yeah, it seems a lot of people were interpreting it as a sign of weakness, but as far as I’m concerned I don’t really care how losses affect him, as long as he’s able to move on quickly and be ready for the next time he’s asked to play.

ParticipantMonty gets the start.
Dobes was devastated after last game, he wasn’t really to blame for the loss but he cares a lot, that’s for sure lol.
