Hey Rico. I tried quoting you, but it got lost in the ether. Regarding del Mastro.
I must be seeing something different. I really like del Mastro, but I’ve seen a very tentative and unsure player in the games he’s played. He’s made some good plays for sure, but he’s been slow on passes and decisions. He worked so hard in Rockford to make quick decisions and drive the puck the other way, it’s been kind of disappointing to see him tentative. Looks like he’s getting this game off along with Murphy.
Pretty much the expected starting lineup playing tonight aside from the Dickinson/Lafferty/Mikheyev line. Lardis, Spellacy, and Savoie playing tonight (not sure on what lines).
Agree, thought he looked tentative in the time that i saw, which was only the 3rd. Was thinking with the team speed increasing, maybe he just looks slow, as he is in comparison.
Wow! I seen some strange hockey plays but never one that the hawks were on the better side of.

It’s difficult to say the zebras were shy with their decision. The puck was in play in an attack zone, so They were cautious.

FLA still has the option to trade their 2026 1st sometime before the 2026 draft in which case the Hawks get the Panther’s 2027 1st.
Maybe FLA will use it in a package to obtain McTavish for use as a replacement center.
I swear i heard someone on TV comment that the time had passed and now the pick was locked in.
Since we are talking Defenseman, I want to point out for all those who didn’t live with us over at HB, i have been predicting Rinzel being the best player of all the dmen drafted, including Arty and i’m including Vlasic in that as well. Initial reports saying he’s a man among boys at the rookie camp.
Time will tell, but when i saw him play and skate at his size two World Jrs ago, I could see the potential. I had not seen him play before that, and was shocked how he was like #6 or 7 dman when the tourney started, and was first pair by the gold medal game. That big and that skating is rare.

Hmm, my quote posts don’t show up, anyone else have that issue? I see posts from others that are quotes, not sure what i’m doing wrong.
I don’t know if it happened to anyone else, but i couldn’t register here, and just figured out a week later that the email to create a password was going to my Spam folder. All good now, just have to figure out how to do my profile
