Word is the Canucks want to work with EP40 to get him back on track. The Sedins offered him the same assistance a couple years ago and apparently he blew them off. Now their Presidents.

Apparently EP40 bought a house in LA. Kings trying Kempe at 1C & Byfield at 2C. Canucks will need to take a haircut.
JTM was problem A but now they ned to get rid of the rest of the problem. If EP doesn’t have a very good year he is going to get eaten alive by the fans and the media and that again is a distraction.
Its early but I think the fans will endear themselves to Buium. They’ll see someone who cares, I’m sure Rossi will come out flying as well. I don’t think pressure from the fans or media will bother EP40.
I am going to disagree. He was in a slump over a year if I remember correctly. Otherwise people would not have been pissed if he was an 85 point player. I don’t remember exactly when but it seems like after the all star game he started his decline.
I don’t think he will be a Canuck too much longer. IMO he is a back story now. I look at him as a future 2/3 centre.
I think after he signed his deal he lost his passion/interest for hockey. If the Canucks are lucky enough to be able to unload him it would be a huge win.
EP40 will stay in Vancouver regretfully. He’s in a good place now, theres no pressure to win, he’s not expected to be a leader in the room. A perfect scenario for him to ride his deal out.
I get what you’re saying. The timing of the signings is the issue with the EP40 for me . Buium signs when he is trending up, EP signs when he is trending down. EP was also a huge reason for the internal conflict.
One thing RJ said yesterday is he loves ZB leadership and enthusiasm in the room. I thought he was going to pee himself he was so happy.
You know you won’t get “leadership and enthusiasm” from EP40.
