For the record, I very much doubt Chayka will trade Knies. This will likely be another of your “Yankees in five” moments.
I don’t get why the Leafs want to move Knies or are they window shopping him.
I’ll be pissed if the Leafs trade Knies. Players like him don’t come along often and he’s signed long term at a good number.
I’m still pissed that Mitchy-Poo nixed the trade for Rants, but if it went through we wouldn’t be getting Mckenna.
But thank GOD, MM16 didn’t sign back with the Leafs. Could you imagine paying that guy at least $13M per year to disappear every single game 5-7, (heck, this year he started adding game 4s to his magic trick).
Congrats, Mitch, you RACKED up points against two teams that would have missed the playoffs by almost 10pts if they played in the East. Full disclosure, what Vegas did to the President’s Cup winners was impressive, but pretty, dry-hair boy had a whopping 3 points in that series. $12M guy, yikes. Eichel was terribler. I seem to recall they Jays getting blasted by someone for failing to win the World Series, but when Marner gets blasted in the Cup Final (if not for an OT win this series is a blowout), he’s a fucking god?!?!? (see what I did there?).
