ParticipantGudas to play vs. the Leafs this eveining.
Who steps up on the Leafs !!!????Is Pezzetta in? If so, him. Also, Joshua and Domi. Heck, Knies and Cowan can take a crack at him too. Gudas shouldn’t be on the ice for more than 10 seconds without someone jumping him and sending him back to the box for 5.
I literally hope Berube puts someone on the ice that drops the gloves with Gudas the SECOND he gets out of the box after serving his first fighting major… and the second… and the third. Fuck this pussy ass team if at least three people don’t fight for our Captain.

ParticipantTorts as the new head coach in Vegas.
Torts and Marner – a match made in heaven. 😝🤣😝🤣😝🤣😝🤣
I was just reading Vegas replaced their coach with 8 games to go.
this should be interesting.Vegas is the most ruthlessly aggressive team in professional sports. If they want someone, they go get them. If they’re over someone, they ship their ass out of town.
I honestly respect it.
If I’m not mistaken, Torts was pretty complimentary of Marner as an analyst, let’s see how he feels as his coach.

ParticipantNew GM and coach.
Tuch, Robertson x2, Raddysh, Cup.

ParticipantI guess we’re just tanking Boston’s pick now?!?
How does the draft lottery affect a protected pick? Could the Leafs theoretically move into the top 5 and keep their pick? I literally have no idea how this works.
WHIPPER
ParticipantDafuq are we doing, we need to be losing this game!
Boston throwing to improve their pick, though.
Thankfully, they just scored. 3-2. Hopefully, the classic Leaf meltdown in Boston is to follow.
WHIPPER
ParticipantI need a reminder of how great Vegas is and how much Marner is bringing to that team. What a hot mess, so glad we moved on.
WHIPPER
ParticipantAdios chuck!
Chuck wound up in the hospital in Hawaii, I hope the hospital recovers.
Chuck Norris didn’t die, he just decided to try living underground.

ParticipantKadri to the Avs, holy fuck, they’re FOR SURE my team now.
WHIPPER
ParticipantI’m glad OEL is still here. Solid D at a really good AAV for a few more years. Mini-rebuild inbound.
WHIPPER
ParticipantAs expected, big day for the leafs!
LOL
Minor trades still may trickle in.
But it looks like only McMann and Roy out the door.edit:
Maybe Laughton out the door as well? But havent seen it posted anywhere. Thought he would have been a good 4th line center going forward3rd rounder …. from LA
Becomes a second if they make the playoffs.

ParticipantThat was wasted on a bunch of pylons and resulted in going from 1st to last. And no better players available as pending UFAs coming either.
So great job! Worked out amazing!
I know you’re severely retarded, so I’ll spell this out for you. We have that cap space next year. And the year after. And the year after that, etc.
I would rather go from first to last and rebuild properly than run the same fucking team back for another 8 years.
Literally, EVERYBODY knew this year was going to be a step back, but no real fan cares about regular season superstars, the playoffs are all that matters.
WHIPPER
ParticipantHere’s hoping the selling brings back some useful stuff. I mean I know it will be a late round pick, but at least Marner turned into a 1st.
Marner also turned into a fuck ton of much needed cap space.
WHIPPER
ParticipantSo who’s everyone going to root for in the playoffs? I’m going with The Bolts.
Avs for me.
WHIPPER
ParticipantSounds like they need one OEL Stat!
or Carlo.[/quote]
Yeah, I’d MUCH rather keep OEL, he’s a beast. Carlo doesn’t command near the return that OEL would, though. Tough call.If you’re doing a FULL rebuild, you trade OEL. If you’re trying to do a fast retool, you trade Carlo.
WHIPPER
ParticipantYikes, Parayko declined to waive to go to Buffalo, (can’t blame him). Sucks for Buffalo fans. Might as well grab OEL for slightly more;-)
Why do teams announce trades when it still requires a player to waive?!?!
