They did the same thing against Ottawa, then won the next game to win the series. I saw on X that the Leafs have followed a pattern:

OT loss
Absolute stinker loss <—– We are here

Unfortunately, if this pattern continues, we lose an absolute stinker in game 7 of the cup finals, but I’m sure by then they’ll figure out a way to break the pattern:-)
