Utah Mammoth Week Begins This Saturday

This Saturday, July 26th, the Utah Mammoth will be hosting an event known as Mammoth Week presented by Delta. The event will run from July 26th until August 2nd, making seven stops in seven days. It is a free event for fans throughout Utah to come out and enjoy, featuring games, giveaways, street hockey, merchandise pop-ups, and more at rinks across the state.

Although Mammoth Week is free for everyone to attend, the event will have some extras for those who are interested. In addition to the free celebrations, there will be additional skills clinics and hockey programming. Those wishing to register for any of the hockey clinics can do so at www.utahmammothyouth.com/mammoth-week/.

Mammoth Week

Day One will be held on July 26th at the Eccles Ice Center in Logan, Utah, from 10am to 2pm, and will include the following format.

  • Hockey 101 (FREE):
    • 8-12 Year Olds: 10:30-11:30am (Register)
    • 12-14 Year Olds: 11:30-12:30pm (Register)
  • Youth Ice Clinic: 10:30-11:30am (Register)
  • Adult Ice Clinic: 11:45-12:45pm (Register)

Day Two will be held on July 28th at the Peaks Ice Arena in Provo, Utah. from 5pm to 9pm, and will include the following format.

  • Hockey 101 (FREE):
    • 8-10 Year Olds: 5-6pm (Register)
    • 10-12 Year Olds: 6-7pm (Register)
  • Continue to Play Skills Clinic: 6-7pm (Register)
  • Goalie Ice Clinic: 7:15-8:15pm (Register)

Day Three will take place on July 29th at the Park City Ice Arena in Park City, Utah, from 12pm to 4pm, and will include the following format.

  • Hockey 101 (FREE):
    • 8-10 Year Olds: 12:30-1:30pm (Register)
    • 10-12 Year Olds: 1:30-2:30pm (Register)
  • Try Sled Hockey for Free: 12-12:45pm (Register)
  • Sled Hockey Ice Clinic: 12:45-1:30pm (Register)
  • High School Ice Clinic: 3:15-4:15pm (Register)

Day Four will be held on July 30th at the Cottonwood Heights Recreation Center in Cottonwood Heights, Utah, from 4pm to 8pm, and will include the following format.

  • Hockey 101 (FREE):
    • 8-10 Year Olds: 5-6pm (Register)
    • 10-12 Year Olds: 6-7pm (Register)
  • Hitting & Checking Ice Clinic: 6:30-7:30pm (Register)

Day Five will take place on July 31st at the Weber County Ice Sheet in Ogden, Utah, from 4pm to 8pm with the following format.

  • Hockey 101 (FREE):
    • 8-10 Year Olds: 5-6pm (Register)
    • 10-12 Year Olds: 6-7pm (Register)
  • Youth Powerskating Ice Clinic: 3:45-4:45pm (Register)

Day Six will be held on August 1st at KJ’s Ice Barn in Enoch, Utah, from 4pm to 8pm with the following format.

  • Hockey 101 (FREE):
    • 8-10 Year Olds: 5-6pm (Register)
    • 10-12 Year Olds: 6-7pm (Register)
  • Adult Ice Clinic: 7-8pm (Register)

Day Seven will take place on August 2nd at Red Rock Hockey in St. George, Utah, from 5pm to 9pm, with the following format.

  • Street Hockey Tournament
    • Kids Tournament: 6-7:30pm (Register)
    • Adult Tournament (16+): 7:30-9:30pm (Register)
