Habs – BearWell, the annual porking of the ping ball balls was right on schedule. This team can’t catch a break it seems. For those who watched, the Flyers were 1 number away from winning the lottery. In other draft years this might have stung more, but given this is a down draft, its not the end of the world. I was hoping the Flyers would trade this pick anyway for a younger, established player, but given where they ended up at the 6th pick, perhaps the value isn’t there to do so. At least we can’t say the Flyers didn’t try to tank for a top pick.
