ParticipantFirst of all, I found out today his name is actually Roman Kancerov, confirmed on the KHL website.
Game 2 stats: TOI 16:57 — 5-on-5: 12:40, PP: 2:46, PK: 1:31. He finished with 0 points, -1, and 1 SOG.
Game 1 stats: TOI 19:00 — 5-on-5: 13:00, PP: 6:00. Again, 0 points and -1.It’s clear his coach is giving him a lot of ice time and trusting him in all situations. Meanwhile, Frondell hasn’t started his season yet, and it looks like he’s lining up with Eklund again.

ParticipantI saw that post too on X: Dravecky was born in the USA and holds dual citizenship with Czechia and the U.S. He played with Rögle BK last season, showing strong skating, speed on the rush, and good transition play.
He had a solid year in the J20 with 16 points in 37 games, and right now he’s ranked as a second-round prospect for the 2026 NHL Draft, projected between 40th and 55th overall. Definitely a player to watch next season.
It’s not yet confirmed if he’ll play in the SHL. Reports suggest he doesn’t want to return to the J20, and if he doesn’t land in the SHL, the OHL could be a better path for his development.

ParticipantThe article is up. I watched Kantserov in his first game — he logged 19 minutes, finished with no points and a minus-1, but overall played a solid game. He completed 76.19% of his passes and, despite his smaller size, he’s really fun to watch.
Kantserov, a 2nd rd pick in 2023, turns 21 at the end of September is beginning his 3rd season in the KHL. Last I knew the KHL was the 2nd best league on earth followed by the AHL and SHL …. What I wanted to most was how many minutes he played and you gave us that, Frenchy. That tells me more about a prospect playing pro than anything else. His coach knows him best and TOI says much…… Did you notice if he played on PP1 or 2 or on the PK?
Samething with Frondell this yr. I’ll watch for his TOI, line and special teams placement…. Yea, we wanna see pts but this is the developmental process where a foundation is being built. At this stage that’s more important than pts for me.

ParticipantHere’s a link to a page showing the Hawks prospects and where they are playing. Click on any column header to sort accordingly. This is good to bookmark since the site will be updated throughout the year with current stats.

So here’s the post i tried to make this morning to this post;
In honor of us all moving here, thought i would make sure we didn’t stray too far from our past;
“In looking at this elite prospects link, i see that Kantserov has played two games without a point. He is a bust, and KD is a child in a man’s job!”

ParticipantAre you just hitting the “quote” button?
Try highlighting the text you want to quote (even if it’s the entire post) then hit the quote button.Yes, i’m hitting the quote button and getting the window at bottom of page with text i’m responding to in it, so looks like it should be working, but posts don’t show up
