ParticipantBeen good, thanks. Super busy lately, and finally got to take 4 days off from work. I’ve had 8 days off in 2 years and was getting burnt out.
well damn, that’ll burn anyone out. enjoy the days off!
I’m back to work this week lol. But i got a few things off of my list and got my acoustic guitars hung in the bedroom along with my artwork and some signed framed football jerseys. Now i have to make like 16-17 ads as I’m selling a lot of tools, benches and whatnot from my old work shop. It never ends. But not as bad as stupid laundry for some………lol

I have 2 Brett Favre jerseys. One home and one away. My buddy gave them to me, and all I had to do was pay for the framing and shit. Lol
And my Packers are looking good to start the season! (Sorry Gramps)

Unreal pick up! The best edge rusher in the league! And I wish they just TOOK him but it cost us Kenny Clark and 2 1st rounders. What an addition. Made the Lions look pedestrian.

ParticipantThe Calgary Flames goaltender has signed a seven-year extension with an average annual value of $7.5 million, the NHL club announced Tuesday.
Woah.
That is a lot of money for 71 games played on a goalie.
Or, I guess genius, if it works out and he continues to get better.

I think there will be more of these signings with the cap increase.
Pay for future production, avoid problem negotiations down the road, wipe out offer sheet potential.
Chicago did this recently w/ Nazar.Awesome if you’re right, ruinous if you pay the wrong youngster(s).

ParticipantYeah, I guess my point is we never really see this with a young goalie.
Maybe they also just want their cut sooner rather than later.

ParticipantAgree it’s even more rare and risky with a goalie.
I believe they bought 5 years of free agency, so that is a factor in the price tag.September 9, 2025 at 1:52 pm #26093Pat1993
