I remembered your name about an hour later. Old age has set in.

All good my friend, I was teasing and testing you a couple months back when VHG brought up your old username and I pretended not to know who you were.

Glad to see the great Quinnie fucken over the Wild right now, what a POS

Stop it…he’s not screwing over anyone, he’s signed for another year and he’s seeing what happens with the Wild’s roster, their cap situation, and/or seeing how things playout with whatever’s important to him. He’s under no obligation to extend with the Wild, or manage their salary cap situation for them. I think they currently have 1.1 million for the 2026/27 season but they lack a true number one center, although they don’t seem to have any trouble scoring as they were 11th in GF last season.

Offensively Quinn Hughes is top three dmen in the league, he controls breakouts like few others in the game. His slight stature does hold him back when defending but he’s learning to use body position better as he matures as a player, he’s only 26 years old. The past five seasons he’s a +61, he has 41 points in 41 career playoff games, and he has 388 points in 378 games, the kid is an unbelievable player but he got tired of the shit-show in Vancouver, who can blame him? They got a great return for him, thankfully!

I’m going to laugh my ass off when Quinn Hughes signs with the Panthers to be with his friends instead of his brothers in NJ. All along I’ve been wondering why in the world Quinn would go to NJ and ruin Luke’s career. Quinn would bump Luke off the top pairing and the #1 PP unit. A massive hit to his career stats and less to leverage in the following contract because of his career demotion. NJ makes little sense to me but people love a good narrative.

Afterall QH was born in Orlando Florida so not really all that farfetched of an idea. Besides NJ cannot get untracked nor suits QH’s wants to win unless all big bs.

With all that is going on & not going on it will very interesting to see the effect the new vets bring to the room & culture & onto the ice. Such an important component to start off the rebuild on the right food. Schenn the total team player & has his mates back & a mentor for the young D. Gallagher the same in his own way & brunging a some feistiness to the F’s. Oleksiak similar to them as well. Cotter a big energy guy on the cheap. With all 4 wanting to come & play in Van bodes well. Lower down a recent video interview with Gallagher & Schenn.

Agree seeing Minny get screwed over by QH makes these dog days less boring.

Yes continue with what has begun. Drafting & developing is priority. Always has been only took a decade & more to do it.

“The good news is the Canucks got it right for once”

No used to seeing that. They need to keep on stockpiling picks. Hope for another good draft.

    Doesn’t sound optimistic?

Bill Guerin on WCCO Radio –

“Quinn might be after different things… He’s got different things in his life that are important to him. Who knows what he’s gonna want in the end.”

All we know from what he has said in the past is he wants to win. That is looking more & more vague & tbh disingenuous. My gut says it’s very Tkachukian with Americans. I doubt it’s about the money that’ll take care of itself.

The good news is the Canucks got it right for once & got a good haul when playing with not the strongest hand. Questioning the character & mind set of players is getting to be a real thing when it comes to loyalty. Not in Larkins case when he was fed up with Stevie Y not adding at TDL’s. Let’s hope 🇨🇦 players start doing the same & want to play in 🇨🇦. Idc which team other than not the Leafs 🤣
