    Agreed. Briere deserves credit.

    They got Drysdale at an estimated cap average of a hair over 5.5% for four years for a top 4 Dman with upside. Flyers have quite a few really good contracts.

    Any chance of trading for Fantilli if Columbus can’t get him signed? I don’t think another offer sheet is the way to go. It would get matched again.

    Danny B has been on fire this off season. Amazing deals for both players. If he gets Grebenkin in for under 2 AAV, that will leave him north of 14 million in cap space heading in to the season. When was the last time they were in that position?!

    As has been said by many, It looks like he is preparing the team to make a huge trade if the right one becomes available.

    On Friday, the Flyers signed defenseman Jamie Drysdale to a four-year contract extension.  The deal carries a $6.5 million average annual value.
