Great analysis of the Flyers’ current situation. The focus on Woll, Luchanko, and the team’s future development shows how important smart decisions are for building a competitive roster. Young players need time to grow, and the Flyers seem to be taking a thoughtful approach. It will be interesting to see how these moves shape the next season. I don’t think the Flyers are in horrible shape at center. But they could still use a genuine 1c.

Agreed but there is a big difference between “not horrible shape” and contender. Anaheim matching hurt the Flyers’ chances.

Between Jett, Nesbitt, Berglund and even Ruohonen, I think the Flyers can get ONE middle-six center out of it. Not that far-fetched.

I agree. One clue as to who teams are valuing most among these guys, Nesbitt was part of the STL rumored ask for Thomas while he was at least getting dangled. I can certainly see Nesbitt as being the top guy in this group. Jett will be easy to grade now that he’s a pro headed for the AHL. 1 PPG and you create a spot for him in the NHL, .75 PPG and he’s very promising and .5 PPG and that would be a concern. I actually like them all. I think the Flyers are in good shape on center prospects.

Not going to write off Jett. But not optimistic TBH.

Flyers goaltender Joseph Woll was the special guest on the new edition of Flyers Daily with Jason Myrtetus on Friday. Back in June, the Flyers and the Toronto Maple Leafs swapped backup goaltenders and defensemen.
