PDO Speedwagon
Participanti read a spot on audition blog on the hb that i agree with very much👍
after seeing our laffs have the opposition’s will imposed upon them when the rubber has met the road over the last 58 years, i had never taken into consideration that they were actually lacking skilled skaters this whole time🤦🏿♂️
if they just had faster, more skilled skaters, they could just outrun and dangle these old timers into the ice like the globetrotters do to the generals🤦♂️ – Neckmaster General Skalapy
I went read it. It’s not wrong. It’s actually a decent blog. I just can’t imagine any serious sports-writer wanting to be associated with that place. The forums are full of the worst political troll wars and the entire site is a 1990’s throwback that is impossible to use without an adblocker. Any halfway decent blogger with hopes of being a professional writer would be best served to stay at least 100 nautical miles away from HB (unfortunately).

That means 1 – 6 next game in Carolina or something like this.
Florida always coming strong after such games like tonight.May 27, 2025 at 12:03 am #6566Unholy_Goalie

Florida always coming strong after such games like tonight. You’d be surprised, Carolina is a lunch pail team. Florida lost 3 straight games to Edmonton last year too, so they aren’t perfect either. I don’t think they’ll blow the series but Carolina won’t quit. I could see them winning one more.

i appreciate your appreciation of sarcasm👍
my neck is the only part of my body that i can still go hard on👊🏿
i just had to dump a bunch of dough into braces and crowns for all of my molars because i have a giant neck and jowls and bite power like a cane corsoe so with all the strain from jacking steel and other stuff I’d worn them down to nubs🤦♂️
the dentist told me to wear a mouth piece in the gym so let that be a lesson to you all if you want to lift heavy and be a hard gainer👊🏿

ParticipantApparently Shanahan nixed the below deal of dubas’.
To Toronto:
Brandon Hagel
Marc-André Fleury (extended)To Chicago:
Matthew Knies (rights)
Petr Mrázek
2022 Toronto 1st (top 10 protected) (Rinzel)
2023 Toronto 1st (top 10 protected) (Cowan. Nadeau?
~FakepartofmeThis was reported but it was debunked by Friedman. Apparently Chicago pitched that and Dubas, as was his job, took the offer to Shanahan but he told him he was rejecting it – which Shanahan agreed with. The idea that Dubas was accepting it I think was pushed by the media that either wanted to hate him or that wanted to make the Leafs look better for firing him.
It’s not like, in Toronto where the media outlets also own the major sports teams, the press can’t be controlled to make the owners look better.

ParticipantSome context for the upcoming free agent spend-off …
Nylanders 11.5M on a $88M cap translates to …
12.5M on a 95.5M cap
13.6M on a 104M cap
14.8M on a 113M capNext summer, if McDavid signs an extension, it’s going to be north of $17M. His current % would translate to $18.8M.

~LawsieMarner walking will open up just about all the cap space we need to sign him, then. Sacrifice next season for a Cup in 27. Plus, he’ll take AT LEAST a 50% hometown discount.

ParticipantIf McDavid wants to come ..he’ll come. Moldover is the agent for both McDavid and Matthews so the discussions would be easy.
That said …I doubt he’s looking to leave unless he brings the Oilers a cup this year?

It’s going to be interesting to see if the cap projections remain. There’s certainly dark clouds on the economic horizon that make the cap raises look in doubt – Bettman said something to this effect a ways back.

We need to get Mrs. Pronger and Mrs. McDavid to become BFFs.

I’ve actually been talking to Bill Metlzer about contributing here so maybe some of our Habs friends will join us on the Island.
