I watched an interview with Rupper about Jason Robertson. He was talking about the Rangers trading for him. Rupper made a good point. JRob is a RFA now and then a UFA soon, why would he want to play for a coach and GM who didnt take him on Team USA for the Olympics? Yes he would have to report but not have to resign here. Interesting point.
Anyone else in disbelief that clown is part of Team USA brain trust as assistant GM?
Almost feel a bit dirty rooting for USA with Quinn, Sully, ( he has already checked out) and Mr Incompetent leading the charge.If your getting rid of Panarin and Tro .. what does it matter get rid of all of them. There is literally no skater that’s irreplaceable. Even though I like Cuylle and Laba.. Robertson has much improved too. Nobody is untouchable.
I was a huge Robertson fan when we got him, with hopes that he and Schneider were the future pair of our defense behind whoever Fox was paired with… which is now Gavrikov. In all honesty, our D, is not really that far off.
However the cumulative effect of poor management, poor coaching and poor leadership has really torn this team to shreds. Sure Fox and Shesty getting hurt is a big loss, however, personally I feel it was a blessing in disguise. I feel like if Fox and Shesty didnt get hurt, Drury would still be making moves to try to salvage the season and make the playoffs.

Were getting the tank we wanted, however… Miller, wow. Just gets worse and worse.
Just need to hope and pray we can get one of the top 2 picks. Need to hope and pray we get a massive haul for Trocheck.
We can hope for a miracle that Mika wants out of this and doesnt want to play the rest of his career on a tanking franchise. The way hes playing right now, people might be ringing his agent. Throw a little retention on that contract, could be a valuable asset. Let me live my pipedream.

Think it’s a given will be top 5. If it wasn’t for Quick it would be 5-0 now.At least they are playing hard against a top team in East.
Please get a haul for Trocheck. But I’m not holding my breath. Need to have at least 3 #1 and 2 top prospects before deadline. Already have the 2 #1 and one prospect. Not asking for much…Well, we got Greentree, hes a high end prospect. If we can get Stramel from Wild, hes a solid C prospect with potential to be a solid 2C… and if we can get McKenna or Stenberg in the draft… would be a solid start here. If Schneider gets moved, I have a hunch someone will overpay for him. Throw in Gabe and Laba. We dont have much on D though.
