yes its me 2050Participanttheir core is/was built on their draft picks. that is a 100% fact.
go flyers become the next panthers. you can do it.
why be a fan? I am at the point where I enjoy watching them fail more than win. that is what they have turned me into. all about the entertainment

Participantflyers are incapable of making smart moves or being a leader.
when you look at floridas drafts the last 8 years years they have received virtually no help from said drafts. makes their run even more impressive. Then why be a Flyers fan at all? The devil is in the details and they have to score big with #6 and, at the very least, one or two of the other picks they have in the first two rounds. That will be on them. At least you admit I’m right in that FLA’s success has been built on firing on all cylinders in terms of player acquisition but the current team is not loaded with their own high draft picks.

yes its me 2050Participantmy dude the flyers are so far off from being able to lick florida’s ass it is sad. that is how far behind they are.
florida will likely be bad again then good before the flyers are competitive. let that sink in.
when you emulate the most recent cup winner you likely fall behind. dont be a follower be a leader. florida has made smart moves. flyers are incapable of making smart moves or being a leader.

Participantmy man you need to stop with the florida comparison.
To be the best, you gotta beat the best. You don’t seriously think every other team in the league isn’t looking at what FLA has done to inform, at least somewhat, their own strategy going forward, do you?

ParticipantThe problem is they need a #1 defenseman. Just getting another top 4 plug-in doesn’t move the needle.
I’m happy with Sanheim as their #1 Dman. He’s likely in the Top 20 for Dmen in the league but they need a helluva lot more around him and behind him. He’d look even better if the Flyers had that. A Top 4 plug-in would move the needle for THIS team. Even FLA went out and traded for Jones at the deadline.

Also need another top 3/4 guy. Does any other team need more than what the flyers need? Goalie, Centers, Dman.

yes its me 2050ParticipantHow much would you pay York?
If he signs long term he is getting 6 million + per year

yes its me 2050ParticipantHague and jake allen come on down as your the next contestant on the flyers spinning their wheels. Is there a GH type out there to sign?
Bill any RyJo update? Maybe they can give him a shot now that torts is gone.

ParticipantThe Flyers have two surpluses, draft picks and enough cap space to sign a Top 4 dman and a goalie this off season. They have an upside even if you don’t want to see it. — FlyerFrank
