    Why would you let him walk? That makes no sense at all.

    Also agree York would want a bridge. Test the coaching waters out first. See how the team is constructed in the next few years.

    Hopefully, the team is constructed in such a way they can afford to let him walk as a UFA. But for now, he’s a top pairing guy here. That won’t change this season.

    Any insight in two which side wants the bridge vs which side wants the long term deal.

    I guess one would assume York wants the long term deal, but IMO I would think it is York that wants the bridge.

    Hold up is bridge vs. Long term. They aren’t close to an agreement yet. But they expect to get something done.

    Should we be worried he hasn’t signed yet? Foerster and Cates have signed but what’s holding York up. We can’t lose our best dman.
