I wish they were more physical tonight, passing up a bunch of checks that are within the play of the game

The way i understand it there is always scouts from other teams at games all throughout the league.

I can’t see the Blackhawks doing much right now.

Hmmm with Nazar and now possibly Burakovsky out, not good for the Blackhawks against a high scoring team

Good read Frenchy but respectfully i believe the hardest part of any rebuild is drafting talented NHL players.

Roster construction is a fair point, like let’s not be the Islanders and draft Schaefer to trade away Dobson? I am so confused by that move.

Anyways for me the fun starts, a skilled faster younger with the compete gene team is matriculating its way onto the ice.

5 years of hoarding the top blue chip prospects in the NHL draft is going to change how teams approach rebuilds.

I was hoping they would extend Mik but then Frenchy reminded me he’s 32 years old. Really enjoy his brand of hockey but i got a feeling if things continue the way they are we will hold on to him till the end of the season unless someone actually offers a 2027 1st round pick which i doubt.

I think Dickinson is traded by the dead line.

It’s also nice to see a team that wants to attack the puck. Win 50 50 puck battles play in the hard areas, block shots.

Vs the Flames they made them look old and slow, McLellan said after the Wings loss we need to be harder to play against, we need to go to the dirty areas and win 50 50 battles

As much as i wanted Kurashev and Reichel to be better it’s nice that we pretty much got rid of our last 2 floaters on this team.

It’s so hard to motivate someone when they don’t have it within themselves. I appreciate this scouting department realizing that is an important trait in a young hockey player.

Thanks Frenchy I’m glad to see someone else as excited as I am about what KD is doing.

I’m liking the vets that have brought in. Burakovsky for nothing has been a great add, Mikheylev for a 2nd round draft pick and price retention another great add. Teuvo and Burt. Made a mistake signing Brodie, addressed it, brought in Grzelcyk on a Pto and signed him to a very friendly deal.

If and a big if, they keep performing the way they are so do they trade Murphy? I can see Dickinson definitely being traded.

I actually like the under 20 minutes for the rookie defenseman, dressing 7 of them a night. Crazy how Arty takes over 1st PP unit duties and the PP comes alive.

I just gotta say i think my wish is coming true, i think KD is one of the few insightful hockey minds who are running a NHL organization.

I can’t believe how many of his draft picks are playing in the NHL and playing well. I said last season the trade for Knight and a 1st rounder for Jones made him GM of the year in my eyes.

I didn’t know what to expect from Blashill but what i did know i really liked the brand of hockey the lightning played and I’m grateful that he’s been able to bring that brand to Chicago, it’s nice to see a team skate with a purpose.

Man what a game vs the Red Wings. 3 in a row, only accomplished that once last season.

Bedard and his line are on fire this run has been so much fun to watch.

    What a great road trip.

It took all of last season for the Blackhawks to win 2 games in a row 3 times? This season they did it in 15 games.

It’s interesting to watch other young teams making their mark, impressed with Sharks turn around, it’s a long season but the young teams are coming.
