I sound like a broken record, but Arty is just not ready for the NHL. This looks like the same thing they did to KK.
Arty has a problem with losing the puck when it is in his possession. He has to get better. His decision-making isn’t great in his own end. I know he is young, but this is the NHL. Not Here Long with play like that. There are four defensemen behind him looking for jobs.
I saw Bert make some nice hits. He needs to do that more. Dach is doing what he is supposed to do. I also thought Slaggert played well. I am still impressed with Murph’s play this year. If he is a deadline trade, we should get a decent return. That is, unless he gets hurt again.
How soon will Foligno be back? They were using Dach at center. They need to bring up a center from the Rock.
Now that Nazar is hurt, this team is about to take the plunge. Should be an active trade deadline day!
I am devastated that the Hawks released Marcel Marcel! Good luck, Buddy. I was heartbroken over the loss to Toronto. It looked like they had no interest in playing that game and then the third period happened. I hope they keep the rookie line together. It shows promise. I also hope that Blashill does not go back to the 11/7 split.
I would love to see them play this way the rest of the season. I am realistic enough to know that the young ones are going to hit a wall at some point. I know it’s early, but I would love to see Lardis come up for a few games. Great game, boys!
Wow! That was a kick in the teeth to their confidence level. Now that Rinzel has been sent down, I guess he has no choice but to go to 12/6. Can it be any more evident that these guys are tired? 13 goals against in two games? Blashill should know better. Half of this team are kids. He is killing them!
