You rather having a losing Leafs team rather than a successful one with “whiny” players is the definition of being a whiner. Guess you hate yourself.

lol no, it’s the definition of not caring

It’s just like I won’t hang out with losers who are willing to buy dinner/drinks/etc.

Tbh, it’s primarily how pouty he is, he doesn’t have to be physical, look at Willie ffs, he isn’t. But Mitch, he cries about shit or looks like he’s about to and I can’t stand guys like that. I’ve had part of my brain removed and just had titanium put into me in September and do I cry/whine/pout about it? No. I just keep going. And Mitch just isn’t that type, he’s a crybaby, and that’s why I don’t like him.

I love how people say Marner is “only” a 90 point player or he’s “only” a regular season player.

Reality is, that “only” 90 points is going to get Vegas into the playoffs while Tavares and Nylander, both on pace for 105 points, are going to miss the playoffs in large part due to their defensive incompetence.

I guess you’d rather have players score 105 points, be giant defensive liabilities, soft as baby shit and miss the playoffs. Man, you must have REALLY loved the Kessel era.

And then, maybe then, you morons will understand the definition of “only” a regular season player because Tavares and Nylander will “only” have played regular season games after they miss the playoffs this year.

Sorry I don’t like whiny hockey players, and yes, due to this I’d rather see a losing leafs team than have one on the roster. Winning isn’t everything. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    Lmao.

    Bruce has completely lost it.

Holy fuck because I don’t like that crybaby Marner? Yes he’s talented but he’s still a crybaby douche lol

Go fuck yourself as you shut the fuck up.

Well, we know you’ve always hated him and are incapable of being unbiased. It explains why you’re so hellbent on being wrong about him and just believing in bullshit because of hatred.

Yes, just like Kadri was an immature “boy” when he left but somehow became a man when he held the Cup over his head on another team. Same, same with Marner. Same, same.

I never hated Kadri, at least he’s a man.

Marner is not. Cute little passer who plays decent D but that’s about it. On pace for a whole 90P this year too… wow.

Marner is a complete player except physical play and knowing how to not be a crybaby lol

I’d seriously rather have this current leafs team than have that little whiny ass bitch still with them. Sure he can play, but I don’t like him.

He had as many playoff hits as Knies did last season and way more than Nylander so there goes that attempt of an argument. If the goal of a player being physical is to separate the opponent from the puck, Marner has way more takeaways 99% of the NHL. Only Makar and Slavin, two elite defenseman, had more takeaways than Marner. Out of the top 9 players in takeaways, Marner was the ONLY forward. The rest, all defenders. So following your logic, you’re terribly wrong.

If you want to bitch about the Leafs not having enough “hitters”, guess what? Hyman was the #1 hitter in the playoffs last year despite only playing 15 games. What did the Leafs do with Hyman? They let him walk. Hmm, sounds like a familiar theme of this retarded team to let great players walk. Bennett was #2 in hits, another player the Leafs were too stupid to acquire when his value was less than a 2nd round pick. Another familiar theme of this incompetent management and some even dumber fans for believing in it’s infinite wisdom.

This “cry baby” bullshit is a manufactured narrative that simpletons believe, not because it’s actually verifiably true. You haven’t played with him or have any fucking clue whether or not he is an actual cry baby. You see a few clips of him screaming in slow motion on TV but you have zero idea how that was received. I could just as easily say Matthews and Nylander are cry babies for the way they sulk after they lose playoff games.

Shut the fuck up, in today’s NHL if you touch someone it’s called a hit.

I’ve hated Marner since he played here in London and I’ll never like his wussy ass approach to the game.

Keep jerking off for him tho, yes he can play, but he’ll never be a man in my eyes, just a boy.

Didn’t Marner leave because he has a young wife a baby who he believed were at risk in Toronto? So much so he hired private security too.
Can’t blame the guy putting the safety of his family first.

Anyone who thinks that Mitch is the only one in his family that has a say in his contract is a flat out fool.

He’s raising a family so safety and cash play a role, therefore privacy is important and no, he doesn’t want to hand out discounts since other family members live off his earnings as well.

It’s cute that there are some people who truly believe that hockey comes first in a player’s life.

    Oh I agree.
He’s no longer a top 10 player he’s drastically falling off, he’s more like a 20 – 30th ranked player. Which is a big problem for the leafs.

But to suggest trading him for a kid who hasnt even played 30 games in the nhl is foolish. We’ve seen so many kids explode into to the league and fall right off or plateau.

Depends… does he keep crashing? If so where will Matthews be by the end of this contract?

Sometimes holding on is the biggest mistake, and he just doesn’t seem into this team anymore. I hope I’m wrong, but fuck he’s not the stud anymore, take the C off his chest and let him just focus on his game again at least.

So now we are trading our number 1 center for a dman that has played nhl 21 games?
    Oh boy.

    lol

I get what you’re saying but I won’t lie, I’m starting to become happy that he only signed for a 4 year deal. Injury or no, Matthews is not playing like he did prior to his current deal.
